30 GOOD AND RIGHT WAYS TO LEARN

The following are good and correct study tips:

 1. Group Study

Group study can be a more fun learning activity because it is accompanied by friends and being at home alone so it can be more relaxed.  However, you should still be accompanied by adults such as brothers, uncles, aunts or parents so that learning does not turn into playing.  Studying groups is a good idea to invite friends who are smart and study hard so that those who are not smart become smart.  In group learning, the activity is to discuss lessons that have not been understood by all or some of the study groups, both those that have been explained by the teacher and those that have not been explained by the teacher.

2. Diligently Make Notes of Lesson Essence

Important parts of the lesson should be noted down on paper or a small book that can be carried anywhere so that it can be read wherever we are.  However, the note should not be used as a medium for cheating because it can harm us.

3. Make Good Plans

To achieve a goal is usually accompanied by a good plan.  Therefore, it is better for us to make a study plan and a plan for achieving grades to find out whether the learning activities we are doing have been maximized or need to be improved.  Adjust the achievement targets with the abilities we have.  Create a study plan that prioritizes weak subjects.  Make a good study schedule.

4. Discipline in Learning

If we have made a study schedule, it must be carried out properly.  Examples such as studying on time and seriously not playing games with full concentration.  If the time for eating, bathing, worshiping, and so on has arrived, don't delay it any longer.  Continue studying after doing the activity if the study time is not over.  Playing with friends or games can damage the concentration of learning.  We recommend that play activities are also scheduled for a long enough time but not tiring if done before learning time.  If you play video games, you should choose games that are educational and do not cause high curiosity or high feelings of irritation if you lose.

5. Be Active Ask and Be Asked

If something is not clear, then ask the teacher, friend or parent.  If we ask usually we will remember the answer.  If you ask, ask moderately and don't test the person you are asking.  Offer to a friend to ask us things that he does not understand.  The more we are asked, the more we can remember the answer and if we don't know the right answer, we can discuss it together with friends.

6. Study Seriously and Diligently

When studying in class listen and record what the teacher explains.  Take note of what is important because it may not be in the book and will come out later on a test or exam.  When you have free time, re-read the notes that have been made earlier and memorize them while being understood.  If we feel good about a lesson, then test ourselves with questions.  After the questions are done, check the answers with the answer key.  Review the questions that were answered incorrectly.

7. Avoid Over Studying

If the time for exams or tests is near, usually we will panic if we are not ready.  A shortcut that is often taken by students who are not ready is to study late at night / stay up late or make a cheat sheet.  It's better to stay asleep on time for exams because staying up all night will have a bad impact on health, especially for children.

8. Be honest in doing tests and exams

Avoid cheating while working on test questions or exams.  Cheating can make our nature cheat and liar.  Lies however cannot be covered up forever and tend to lie further to cover up the next lie.  Assume that by cheating, the teacher will definitely find out and have a future as criminals if we cheat.

9. Be a leader.  Practice your sense of responsibility.

If the teacher asks you to help with something like cleaning the classroom, don't hesitate to accept it.  Invite some classmates and lead them to clean the class together.

10. Listen to the teacher's explanation well.

Answer every question asked by the teacher if you know the answer.  Don't wait for the teacher to call you to answer questions.

11. Don't be shy to ask.

Always ask the teacher questions if you don't understand something.

12. Do your homework

Do your homework well, don't always find excuses not to do it.  Don't be lazy to do homework with the excuse of forgetting or procrastinating doing it.  It's nice if we do our homework quickly, so we still have plenty of time to play and watch TV!

13. Always Repeating Lessons That Have Been Taught

Every time I come home from school, I always repeat the lessons that were taught.  Later when there is a test so there is not much to learn!  Fun!

14. Get enough rest, eat and play.

Everything is done in a balanced way.  After school, we often want to quickly play and forget about all other important things, such as eating and resting.  Even though after a day at school, we don't feel our bodies need additional energy input that can be obtained from rest and the food we eat.  Therefore we must be able to divide the time to eat, rest and play.  If everything is done well, the body will be fresh every day!  So don't get sleepy in class often!

15. A lot of practice lessons that are less liked.

If you don't like a subject, for example math, then practice a lot, take courses or study in groups with friends.  After learning, you can play and make new friends in the course.  Besides that, who knows from not liking math, you might even like it.

16. Take part in extracurricular activities that you enjoy.

Find out what activities are suitable and you like.  For example, if you like tae kwon do lessons, try taking courses from these activities, so that in addition to learning the lessons taught at school, you can also get additional lessons outside of school.

17. Find a good mentor.

Parents are the best guides besides teachers.  If there is something unclear from the teacher's statement at school, you can ask your parents about it.  In addition, you can also learn from friends who excel.

18. Do not like to cheat friends.

If you cheat, you will be dumb because you do not think with your own mind.  After all, not necessarily, the friend you cheated on answered the question correctly.  Not to mention if the teacher and other friends find out, it's embarrassing right?  If you study hard, you will definitely be able to answer all the questions correctly so that the test can get good grades.

19. Intention earnestly

If we don't study seriously or have no intention, our thoughts will wander everywhere.  Whether it's about food, games, the opposite sex, etc.  Therefore, good study begins with real intentions.

20. Conducive location and situation.

If we study, is it impossible if we do it in the middle of the highway?  Or when we are eating.  The most effective way to study is to find a comfortable place where there are not too many distractions so that we can concentrate more.

21. Avoid Dishonest Attitude

Nowadays many students take notes to cheat when there is a test or exam.  By studying with a regular schedule, a student will always be ready if there is an impromptu test and there is no need to cheat.

22. Imitation Method

The learning process can run perfectly through the method of imitation or imitation.  This method is realized when someone imitates another person or his teacher, this method is often used by young children to recite the language words of their parents, as well as if he imitates various behaviors, ethics and traditions.

23. Trial And Error

Humans also learn from personal experiments. He will try independently to solve the problems he faces. Sometimes he makes mistakes in solving problems, but he also tries to do it again several times.  Until finally he was able to solve the problem properly.

24. Conditioning

Humans can learn by conditioning.  A person is said to learn by conditioning if there is a stimulus from the senses that stimulates him.  That's when a person responds to the stimulus.  The response he gave was a response that was also accompanied by a neutral stimulus.  Then the response accompanying the neutral stimulus will be repeated several times.  After repeated several times, we will find that the neutral stimulus can respond by itself even though the sensory stimulus is no longer there. The classic example of the Russian psychologist Ivan Pavlov in his experiments is quite famous.  He rings a bell (neutral stimulus) when he puts a small amount of food in the dog's mouth (sensory). Usually, if the food is placed in front of the dog's mouth, the dog will salivate (response). Thus salivation coincides with the sound of the bell.  .  When this was repeated several times, the researchers tried to ring the bell without putting food in the dog's mouth.  So the result was that the dog was still drooling when he heard the sound of the bell, a new response that had never been experienced by a dog.  Now the dog responds to the sound of the bell by drooling. Whereas before the experiment was carried out the dog did not salivate when he only heard the sound of the bell.

25. Thinking Method

The learning process can also run perfectly through the method of thinking, with this method a person is often able to solve the problems of his life, he will have similarities and anything that does not have similarities.  Thus he would be able to draw conclusions, with that choice.  So the key is to give our children questions that they think are easy, so the child will always learn and think.

26. Start small

Start learning from the topics you are most familiar with / easy.  After that, it will be continued with more “challenging” topics.  This is intended so that we do not immediately get down and despair if we do the difficult questions first.

27. Often “practice”

Practice and practice is the key to being proficient in a subject.  The more you do and understand the problem the more familiar you will be in doing it.

28. Focus

When we study, we are required to be serious.  Don't be half-hearted.  Because our mind cannot do/think several activities/things at one time.

29. Ask for HIS guidance

Don't forget to pray a lot.  Because apart from its religious value, it can make us more focused when studying and can make our minds calmer.

30. Use Relevant Media and Sources

If we only use 1 book as a benchmark for learning.  Whatever results we get are not necessarily optimal.  For this reason, try to look for things related to what we learn by using existing sources and media.  We can search for it by using the Internet, Newspapers, Other Books, Magazines, and others.  Of course, we also don't want the knowledge we get only that much because we only have 1 book or incomplete source.  For this reason, Sources and Media are only as a complement in good and right learning.

LEARNING MUST BE DIFFICULT BUT DON'T EXCEED.  AND DON'T FORGET TO PRAY BEFORE LEARNING
